Boost Relic dilema. Help?

I recently restarted up my siren on UVHM, and have a co-op Torgue-only gunzerker with a friend. I want 2 unkempt harolds and know that the race is probably the best way to get tokens. However, I sold my boost relic a long time ago. I can get one on my siren, but I am not lvl 61 yet. Does it matter to the point that I should wait or can I just get it now without too much stat decrease?

TL;DR How much less is a lvl 53 boost relic compared to a lvl 61 relic?
