Just purchased some new boots, but not sure on the colour. Thoughts?

As a university student I'm on a relatively tight budget, but the asos sale is throwing up some nice boots of which I am in need of. I just purchased these, and I'm a bit unsure on the colour of them, probably since I haven't seen them in person. Worried they might be a bit light, so any opinion would be appreciated.

In all honesty, I feel I might prefer these, but they are more than twice the price, and I can't really stretch that far. Or should I take the hit and go for them? Thanks.
