A few beginner questions (yes, I read the FAQ)

So I go to NC State, and I've been hearing a lot about this game...so I just have 2 questions.

I have 2 android devices, A shitty LG optimus and a decent Samsung Galaxy Tab.

If I play, I would probably want to play some on my Samsung tablet. NCSU isn't completley blanketed in wifi, but all of the buildings have a little bit of wifi that I could grab...

how persistent does your internet connection need to be to play?

Also...what exactly keeps someone from maine, someone form florida, someone from Texas, someone from North Dakota, someone from Washington (state), and someone from California from just creating a huge ass control zone?

Also if anyone is from the triangle and plays, please give me your experiences w/ the game.
