Hey gamers who are also in law enforcement.

So, I am playing a NYC police officer in a modern superhero tabletop campaign. The thing is, Im unaware of a lot of the mannerisms I should be doing. Like what I should be carrying on me while I'm off duty. Certain habits like profiling, and anything to help me be a better cop. Any tips or material to read would be very helpful. Thanks!
