Cheap Festivals with past their prime musicians?

My wife and I recently came out here from the Chicago area and around the 4th of July out that way there are usually suburban towns having their own cheap festivals with performers that are past their prime but still a good time. Some examples in the last several years have been Eric Bourdon, Blondie, REO Speedwagon, Loretta Lynn, Hootie and the Blowfish ect. Is there anything like that in the Bay Area?
