Is there any way to bind a group of units or a building to a key like in StarCraft 2?

Hi!
I've been playing AoE2 since I was twelve, but I usually just messed around in the editor and stuff. So, recently purchasing the HD version, I wonder if there's any way I can bind units/buildings to specific keys like in StarCraft 2?
e.g. Ctrl+1 to set a group of units to 1, and then select them later with 1.
