using Python in Numerical Methods class

As the title says I'm using python for that class, the professor told us to use matlab and do the homework in there, he is also cool with me using python instead, but lately the problems require things like getting a reverse matrix or things like that.

Are there any libraries that could help me out with this sort of things? (python 3)
