Can I import appointment emails from Gmail to my Calendar on a Nexus 4?

I thought this might be a better place to ask that r/nexus4. I know in my browser I can go into Gmail and convert an email with an appointment into a calender event. On my phone I don't see this option anywhere and would prefer to not input all the details manually by flipping between the email and my calendar. I use Gcal and Gmail.

Am I missing something?

Also just a side question can I add more than just work + home locations to Google Now?
