http://www.reddit.com/buildhelp £900-£1000 GBP gaming PC. First time build.

I'd like to move to PC gaming, however I have no clue about computer components. I've been lurking around BuildaPC for a little while and tried to put something together. I would like to be able to play games on high settings. I do however need a monitor, keyboard, mouse and OS. Any advice on why parts I've chosen are not good choices would be appreciated.
