Reddit Family! Need a new job and I wanted to come to the biggest reliable group of people around! (No throwaways here)

Ladies and Gentlemen, I'll keep it short and sweet. I'm looking for a job, but i've been quite busy with the current one and in organizations for my Alma mater. I've used most resources around (recruiters, linkedin, contacts, school resources), and now I come to you.

Thing is that I want to ask people who love where they work, the people they work with and know of available opportunities. I've been searching through energy companies and most want engineers or really high ranking positions. My background is in Finance/Marketing (I'm your people and numbers person) and I've been doing business development/analyst roles/program management.
