How do you lovely ladies feel about animal testing?

As someone who is utterly ADDICTED to make-up but is also vegetarian, I very recently started doing research on what goes into animal testing and it breaks my heart.

What I want to know is if this affects what brands you buy or not? It's pretty astonishing how many are on the no-buy list (MAC, BeneFit, YSL, because of the Chinese export laws, Kiehl's, Lancôme, plus almost every drugstore brand). I don't want to be preachy, I'm honestly just curious. And what are your favorite cruelty-free brands?
