Footfall by Niven & Pournelle vs. The Kraken Wakes by Wyndham vs. The War Against The Chtorr series by Gerrold

I'd like to read an alien invasion story (obviously), and these three look to be in my wheelhouse. What are your thoughts on each? Which one should I dive into first? Is there another alien invasion novel/series I've overlooked that puts these three to shame?

And do the three listed hold up—as in, have they stood the test of technological time that can often date science fiction so quickly?
