The amazingly imploding company
So, two months ago I was fired from my job. I have to admit I wasn't really happy there anymore, and I didn't feel respected, but the firing still came as a shock and made me feel horrible.
Now two months later I'm still in contact with the only other programmer in the company, and he has told me so far that one other person was recently fired (he hasn't told me why yet, but when you'd have asked me who would be gone next I would never ever have expected that person), that a third person had a falling out and quit the job and that he too, has given his notice of termination and will be leaving the company soon.
Which makes me incredibly happy, not only because he deserves better then to be stuck with this slaver job where he has to do the work of three people alone now, but because the company will have literally NO programmers whatsoever anymore and has been unable to find anybody to take over the job.
It's like watching a house burn in slow motion, and it makes me happier than it should. I'm loving it, and I hope the company will die a slow and horrifying death.
