Scavenger Run - May 26, 2778 (Entry #002)

I walked over to Mr. Pinkmenn and he put his arm over my shoulder and walked me through the door. His secretary Margie, look up at me and smiled, "hello Chris," "Hey" We kept walking and he opened his office door. "Sit" he said pointing to a Rugged Pre-War chair. I walked over to the chair and sat down. He did the same. "Do you know why you're here?" "Is it about the whiskey, sir?" "Whiskey I don't care about no damn whiskey!" He chuckled and adjusted himself in his seat. "But it does have to do with the town's supplies." He said quietly as if he didn't want anyone to hear him. " you see the town's last Scavenger went missing on his last run. We need you to go get us more food, water, toys for the kids, cigarettes basically the necessitates." I thought for a moment and I think he was growing impatient. "Well, will you do it?" "How many caps do I get from this?" I said quickly. "150 caps to start but if I like your work maybe some more" he said. I smile and stood up. "DEAL!" I said. Mr. Pinkmenn stood up and shook my hand. "Very glad to hear that!" He said in a cheerful manner. Then for a moment I thought. I'm gonna need a weapon. I thought. "Hey, uhh Mr. Pinkmenn I will need a weapon you know just in case" He reached under his desk and pulled out a 9mm Pistol and gently put it on the table. "Take this. It's my baby though so take care of it, and here is two purified waters, a stimpack, and some leather armor in the locker in the back of the room," I grabbed the supplies and got the armor and headed out on my journey.
