Ow! First time playing with a new toy (thankfully without the wife)...

As I detailed in this post, I recently purchased a happy valley tango. I decided I would see how it was on my own. Now, I'm not sure if I wasn't aroused enough, if I didn't have enough lube, the toy is too big, or if I have a medical issue, but: it hurt. (Warning: naughty words!) It felt like my asshole was being torn in half, barely even inserting the head into the rear. In fact, I'd say the toy did not even make it inside the bottom. But I should add that the pain went away after I ended insertion.

I looked up hemorrhoids symptoms, and I don't think I have them, but now I'm freaked out. I'm hoping I don't have a severe medical issue.

Could the toy be too big? Or do I need something to get used to it? Previously I have only ever used my aneros toy or my own fingers. Or did I not use enough lube? I only use a few drops, enough to cover the toy, before attempting insertion.
