Searching for ps2 game

Does anyone remember a old ps2 game i think it might have been a final fantasy. You start at this carnival and then i think comets come and crash the party and you have to go into a cave to do something. Its not a turn based game if anyone could give me the name of this game it be greatly appreciated.
