Sedation dentistry in western Canada

Hey Calgary,

So thanks in complete part to a terrible dentist when I was younger, my anxiety has kept from getting any "work" other than checkups done in over 10 years. Initially I thought some intense anxiety medication that the dentist prescribed would help, but when I sat down in the chair I felt nothing and told them "sorry, not happening".

I've recently started exploring options to fix my problems because unfortunately just getting a prescription to kill infections won't work forever, but I'm having trouble making a decision. I've been to Abrour Lake, I can't remember who I met with but he was very cold and I didn't feel comfortable around him. I've also been to Chestermere but they said they could only sedate me 2 hours at a time and that I'd have to schedule several appointments.

My question is, I've heard there are no regulations in Alberta for pricing and was wondering if I could go out of province to get work done? Also, if that option doesn't pan out, who should I be going to? Arbour Lake told me it would run me about 7,000 just to give you an example.
