Looking to volunteer somewhere. Any suggestions?

I want to contribute a little more to society and would like to volunteer somewhere in Dallas. I can do whatever, except really hard manual labor like construction (I'm not strong). If y'all have any ideas or places you know about that are worthwhile let me know. I am not really sure where to look. I am interested in environmental causes, animals, and people, probably in that order :)
