Need a hand up - Wyoming
I am trying to rebuild my life, but everywhere I have turned, I have hit road blocks. I have always helped my family out, always been the one to financially support my parents, etc. However, 2012 brought a lot of obstacles and it all just caught up to me in the end.
I am going through a divorce. My ex caused me a lot of financial hardship over the last few months, and I am trying to dig myself out of that hole. I live with my parents - my father is disabled and my mother is trying to get on disability. I work 71 miles away, and yes, I've tried finding a job closer to home. However, the benefits, pay, etc are impossible to beat.
I need some help. I have about $28 to last me until the 26th. My parents are overdrawn. We need groceries, I need to pay for tags for my car, gas money, etc. Other long-term issues include being able to pay off the smaller prior debts and saving up for rent & deposit for a place closer to work.
I never thought I would be asking anyone for financial assistance - let alone strangers. However, I am at the point where I have exhausted all of my other options, and I don't know what else to do at this point. I have sold most of my belongings, we have turned to the food bank (but it is incredibly small due to location, and you can only go once in a 30 day period), and we are still unable to limp along until the end of the month.
I am attaching proof of bank balance for myself and my parents. If you are willing to help, I would be greatly appreciative. When (not if!) I am back on my feet, I will pay back what I am given, or if you do not want to be paid back, I will donate to a cause of your choice to pay it forward.

Edit: someone suggested posting a wish list for groceries / supplies. Hope this works. I tried to add mostly stuff that qualified for Amazon Prime. http://amzn.com/w/3PYB2X4S3N3LC
