Good ways to find a trans friendly therapist/counselor?

I am having a horribly difficult time trying to find a good therapist that specializes in trans issues. Do any of you have experience with finding a good therapist? How did you find them?

If it helps, I live in Mesa, AZ. I can't find anyplace that specializes in trans issues near here, any advice helps!
