[request] Films for a Grade 8 Class

I'm lesson planning a film unit for a grade 8 class and one of the requirements will be for the students to watch one film from a provided list of 10-20 possible titles, which students will watch on their own time. I'm looking for suggestions for films to include on this list that are not only appropriate for this grade level but are outside of the current films most of these kids are watching. My list is predominantly classics so far but I would definitely like to have some modern titles included as well.
