Need a 3rd party's thoughts on a fantasy league moral issue

So I'm in a fantasy basketball league this year and I was lucky enough to make it to the championship game this week. I want to start by saying that I have no problem with anybody in this league before today.

This is a daily lineups league so most weeks come down to who can get the most starts out of their players. Add/drops can be done every day. This morning, the guy I'm playing against traded a guy from his IR for an active player of relatively (high) equal value. No problem so far with the trade as it is a keeper league and positioning for next year is fine. The active guy has a game tonight so I'm not worried about it because normally there is a 24 hour waiting period for the trade to be finalized and be executed. Well, the commish decided to expedite the trade and now my opponent has an extra game on me which will probably be 25 points said and done (normal weeks are decided by 50 or less). Out of all the trades all season long the commish has only done this once before.

Kicker: the commish is my opponent this week and the only other expedited trade benefitted him as well.

Am I fair in saying this is messed up? Or am I just on too high alert because of my interests of winning the league?

EDIT: I ended up winning anyway so it really didn't matter after all. I posted our email exchange if you care to read it.

EDIT 2: He ended up posting in the thread and still continues to plead innocent while threatening to shoot people.

EDIT 3: Commish just deleted all but 4 guys of his choosing from my roster including Rondo who I had carried in an IR slot for 2 months.
