Has anyone else tried to buy tickets for a R or NC-17 rated movie as a teenager?

So, The Evil Dead remake/reboot is out this Thursday in the UK. I've been eagerly awaiting the release ever since I watched the trailer a few months back (I'm a big Evil Dead fan, and it looks promising!). But unfortunately, due to the movie being an 18 certificate over here (I believe that's the equivelent to an R or NC-17 rated movie in North America) - I cannot legally watch the movie for another few years. Fortunately, I'm blessed with the ability to grow some decent facial hair, so, my plan is to not shave until release day to ensure I look as mature as possible when attempting to purchase a ticket! Wish me luck!

Has anyone here attempted a similar thing before? If so, please tell me how it went, haha!
