Where to find Excalibur mods?

So I started with the Excalibur months ago, and hopped back on to play after I realized how much fun this game is. Only thing is, I only have Radial Javelin and Super Jump. I know there are locations to get specific blueprints and resources, but what about mods? Are they completely random, or are there known places to find mods in particular? Thanks!
