Dual Sport/sumo or a Wrangler.

I've been pondering this one for a while now, I don' like talking to other people much, but I enjoy being around them. I love biking and off-roading very much as well too.

I've never owned a dirtbike, but have driven one in the past. I want the Jeep mainly for the year-round use, but want the motorbike because I cannot stand being in a cage. I like spaciousness, feeling small, speed, and maneuverability. Something I don't think a Jeep could deliver, aside from the spaciousness (Provided summer mode is engaged, with the top off).

This mainly goes back to a dream I had two days ago.

Side note: I had driven my neighbour's Wrangler a little while ago and found it just the most rewarding driving experience ever. So I guess it must have stuck with me.

In my dream, I had bought a red Wrangler 2.5L 5spd I don't know why it was so specific, but I bought it without my parents knowing, and no other adult there with me to look over it before I bought it. I get home, and my Mom is furious because I just blew about all my money on a Jeep, let alone a vehicle. I tell Mom, "No worries, I'll show you I did good". So I take her out wheelin' the next day in an ice storm (Weirdly enough, we had an ice storm the next day, IRL). Any way, when I woke up, I had felt light, peaceful, happy and care-free, something I cannot fully explain. But that I feel will stick with me for a while.

But I want a sumo/dual sport because I like the beautiful simplicity that motorbikes have. Plus sumos are sexy.

What I have in mind is a WR250x as a sumo/dual sport and a 2.5L 5spd Wrangler as the Jeep. What should I do?

Because the only thing that is stopping me from buying a Jeep is having to deal with the shit from my father who hates Chrysler's reputation due to a Dart he owned back in the late 70's, and the fuel economy. And the only thing that's stopping me from buying a bike is because Mom is worried I might goon it (I won't. That's why I have a dirt jumper. I rip on that because I know I can't kill myself on that), and the fact that I can't ride year-round here.

I am pretty mechanically inclined, so I know my way around an engine and such. And if it isn't a Jeep, or sumo, then I default to a Subaru Fozzie. Because AWD is fun in the snow.

Advice? Thoughts? Comments?

Thanks.
