[Discussion] How would you feel if Blizzard implemented an idea that originated in another game?

I see other games, mainly PoE and TL being brought up in suggestion threads a lot, especially when referring to end game content. Let's face it, most of the ideas are pretty good ideas, but does the fact that they originate in other games turn you off of them?

The main idea that I see getting brought up a lot is the PoE map system. Personally, I think the idea is great, and would provide near endless game diversity and re-playabilty, while being very rewarding based on how challenging you decide to make your content. I'd be very happy if Blizzard decided to use the map premise and adapt it to fit Diablo.

I guess my question is: Does the fact that an idea originated in another game mean that Blizzard shouldn't explore the option of innovating it to fit their game?
