I am sick of helping you.
A family friend owns a Mexican restaurant which I used to work at in high school. Business slowed down so he let me go, it was fine I was sick of working there as a waiter. Now I am graduating from college in 3 months and he has been asking me if I can go help him out for the past 8 months. I have when I have been available, I now do pretty much everything other than cooking. Business is slow but there is always something to do, they are extremely clean so thats where we spend most of our time.
Well now I am extremely tired of helping him out, I only do it because I want to give him and his wife some time to go home and relax. He pays me probably less than minimum wage at $8/hr, and I get super tired because of all the work that needs to be done, especially when I am standing up for 7-9 hours straight. The only reason he still has his business open is because of all the drunks that go there. His business is a restaurant so he can only serve alcohol if a customer orders food, well he doesn't follow those rules, people treat it like a bar.
Luckily now I will just tell him that my classes are too much and I cannot help him out anymore. I feel like a jerk not helping him but he takes advantage of my help and I am sick of it. I also have another job as IT in my school, so the only reason I work at the restaurant is truly to help him. I know this does not compare to any of the other problems on here but I just wanted to let this off my chest.
Ugh ... work tomorrow.
