shot steel for the first time today

went shooting steel for the first time today. man that was a great feeling hearing it go clang. Unfortunately, shooting 30-06 i apparently need to be much much further than 175 since the rounds almost went clean through 1/2 inch of steel. oh well, i guess next time i'll stretch it out to 300. I'm definitely hooked though, already thinking about how my life goal is to have my own range with steel out to as far as my land goes.
