Heading to uni soon, have £1000 to create a new wardrobe, looking for advice

I'm heading into uni in the next few months and have decided to rework my wardrobe. I've never really cared about my clothes until recently. I'm 19, 6ft tall and weigh roughly 190 pounds. Any advice would be more than helpful.
