Is the player Lorkhan?

I've been reading this forum for a couple weeks and have spent some time in the Imperial Library and a thought crossed my mind as to whether the player himself is Lorkhan. I'm nowhere near as knowledgeable about TES lore as the people here, so I was hoping to get some input from the community at large.

I'm just curious as it seems that Lorkhan's goal was to help everyone achieve CHIM. There is talk in places like UESP that, while Lorkhan's body parts might be on Nirn, his spirit exists elsewhere. So what if in each TES game, Lorkhan is taking on a different incarnation to bring about events that will ultimately help the world-at-large achieve CHIM?

Does anyone else think this would be a cool way to eventually end the TES series?
