Need advice on math career change

I have a BA in Biology, BS in Nursing and MS in Nursing. I want to get out of patient care (no nursing license) and into a math based field. I am looking into a graduate Certificate in Applied Statistics. What is the job demand for this type of education and what type of salary could I expect?
