I hope I'm in the right subreddit. Encountered a strange virus that plays ads in the background with no video, only audio. Ads play even with no browser open. Google Chrome will blue screen, Firefox gets this strange teal bar across the top.

I updated Malwarebytes and restarted my PC (Using Windows 7 Ultimate) in safe mode, found 1 trojan and got rid of it, but I am still having this problem. Even with just my desktop and no browser open, I hear audio from various ads play out of nowhere.

It's very random ads, and they often cut off midway through, or restart, etc. Kind of similar to those Youtube ads that play automatically. The last few was some short commercial talking about how to make strawberry cobler pie (?) followed by an ad in Spanish for the Droid, and right now there is some guy with a PSA saying to consult your cardiologist if you have certain symptoms, lol.

Not sure what to do here, this is very strange. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
