So Nintendo Tech Support messed me up

I was playing Lego City on Thursday and after about an hour my game froze up and the speaker started humming. I had to unplug it to shut it off. I didnt try it again until today. Ten minutes in to the game it did the same damn thing. I called tech support and they told me to go in to system settings and delete the Lego data. I said that would delete my game file and he said no, just the update. I asked 3 times if he was sure and he said yes, your save data will be fine. Once done he told me to load the game. I start it and sure enough my save data is gone. I tell him this and he says, "No, its still there." No matter what I said he said its still there. I told him I was looking at it and it was gone, and he actually said "Thats not what my computer says." So now I went from 46.9% to .3%. Its a great game, but I didnt think Id be playing the story through again this soon.
