Changes to the sub

I figured I'd make an informative post about the changes made in the last day or so in case you look over in the side and say, "oh, what's this plant of the month thing?" Or maybe you couldn't give a flying frog's leg about the changes, I dunno, but here it is. :D

Changes made:

• Sidebar: Changed the picture we had to something user submitted. I thought it would be nicer to have a user submitted photo in the sidebar as opposed to one that is a random internet find. The photo will change monthly (depending on content). If you'd like to see your picture in the sidebar just submit a photo! Every month I'll choose a random photo and put it in the sidebar for all of us to enjoy.

Will also be putting more content in the sidebar. If you have a succulent grower that you purchase from let us know in the comments so that it can be added to the side ------->

Will also be putting grow tips in the sidebar as well, so if you have a succulent soil mix you use and want to share, share in the comments! Or if you have grow tips in general we'll put those there too.

• I liked the r/whatsthisplant's plant of the now. They basically choose a plant that has been submitted recently and put all of the information about that particular plant in the sidebar with a link to more information. Would that be something of interest here?

• Top menu: We are looking for a Snoo to put up for the sub! Entries can be submitted here. Until we have a succulent Snoo mascot we will be having just the title of the sub up there. This is perfect if you think the menu bar is an eyesore and want it changed ;)
