Question: how did you gain better control with your non-dominant hand?
Hey laqueristas!
I've recently been branching out into more complicated nail polish stuff, and oh my goodness, I can't do anything with my left hand! I've always been pretty bad at doing the nails on my right hand, even with just plain old solid polish because I have very little left-hand control. Today, I decided to do one polka-dotted nail on each hand, and while my left hand turned out surprisingly well with more or less uniform size/shape dots that are pretty evenly spaced, my right hand is a bit of a mess. All of the dots look a little smudgy, they're too big, and I couldn't get the spacing right because my left hand just shakes a bit too much when I'm trying to do detail work.
What tips do you all have for gaining better control in your non-dominant hand?
Thanks!
