[GEAR] First electric guitar

I've had an acoustic guitar for around four years. I occasionally pick it up and strum it a bit. Recently, I've been interested in getting an electric guitar and want some advice. A nice person gave me a Roland Microcube, so I guess I don't have to worry about amps.

Budget: $200-$300, cheaper the better

What style do you want to play: I'm not sure exactly, but some of my favorite musicians include the Beatles, Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, and Eric Clapton

I have several electric guitars on my mind -- the Yamaha Pacifica 112, Epiphone G-400, Squier Classic Vibes Stratocaster/Telecaster

A lot of people say to go to the store and try out which one feels the best, but I can't really play any songs and the friends that play guitar are all away at college.

Does anyone have experience with any of the guitars I've listed? Any other suggestions?
