Could I have some tips about Universal Studios?

I will be visiting Universal Studios (both parks, Islands of Adventure & Universal) in about a month. What should I know about the Harry Potter part (what time to go, things to try, etc.)? What things should I definitely do while I'm there? Also, is doing both Universal parks and Epcot in 2 days possible?
