Boyfriend thinks i'm too into sex

Hi there! Couldn't think of anywhere else to ask this so I thought I would throw it out to you guys. I am a 22 year old female dating a 21 year old guy. I guess you could say that i'm very sexual. I'm extremely reserved around almost everyone unless you are a very close friend, however, I have been dating a guy for about 3 months, everything is great, and I started being very open about sex with him. For example, I will tell him when i'm now with him how much I wanna have sex (maybe once per week) and when I am with him, i will pretty much ask for it. I know he's into it too, so it's never been a problem.

However, last night I got too drunk and I guess I was a little loud in front of his close friends who also happen to be best friends/roommates and a couple of work friends. I was a little obvious in my drunken state. Which I apologized for today. I have hung out with his friends all day and theres no problem, but this evening he told me how he thinks i focus on sex too much and need to calm down. This really hurt me (and I communicated this to him) and I now feel like shit. We have talked and everything seems fine, but now I just feel like shit and I'm not sure what to do.

Is it wrong to be open about sex with my boyfriend? I guess I feel bias because if this were to happen at my apartment, my friends would laugh/not find it serious. I'm just so embarrased and feel that I need to hold back sexually. And this isn't okay with me since i'm very selective and kind of a prude when i'm not in a committed relationship.

I guess i'm just confused and any advice from men/women who have been or undersatnd this situation would be greatly appreciated.

Also, im not a native english speaker, so sorry for the grammar
