Has anyone ever heard of this kind of sensory condition?

Thought I might try here since no doctor I've talked to has heard of this. I have constant unpleasant sensations that are not exactly pain, but are just as bad as or worse than pain. It is not numbness, tingling, burning or anything else but pure visceral discomfort, sort of like pain stripped of anything but the pure unpleasantness of the sensation. The sensations mostly occur at the skin level or a little deeper, and mostly in places where my skin rubs against itself or anything else. I can't wear tight clothing or shoes or let my fingernails grow past the quick.

In medical terms I guess I'd describe it as sort of allodynic dysesthesia, if that makes sense? I should also mention I have fibromyalgia, which makes it worse, but I've had this condition as long as I remember, so I don't know if there's a relation. Some of the fibro treatments like Lyrica and capsaicin cream help a bit with it, anyway.

I just want to find a name or something for this. I can't do anything without a name.
