What is the most romantic/thoughtful way you can think of asking a guy/girl to date you?
I have an idea for a bit of a scavenger hunt for a girl whom I am certain will say yes. I'm fleshing out the plan, but was wondering what creative ideas you have for asking someone to date you, regardless of whether or not you think it's lame, cheesy, or over-the-top. Alternatively, what would be the ideal way you'd want someone to ask you out?
Edit: As mentioned below, "this is a woman I've dated for years. We needed some time apart before realizing we're in this for the long haul. She approached me essentially with an "I'm ready for this when you are" conversation and I'd like to start from the beginning again, just asking her to date me.
Hopefully makes more sense, and Redditors understand that I'm in no way a creeper!"
