building a guitar need some advice on electronics.

Hey guys, I have one last question about the electronics on a les paul jr double cut that i am going to be building soon. I realized that i only really use the bridge pick up on my other guitars and I decided that getting a body that is cut for two pickups is pointless if i'm not going to use the neck pickup. that being said I could really use some advice for what type of pickup to put into the neck. At the moment I was thinking about using a humbucker sized p94, or possibly just a normal p90 dog ear style pickup. But I want to play stuff like foo fighters and other punk rock bands, so maybe I was thinking that maybe i should put in a gibson 490R Original Humbucker so that i can some good rockin crunch. Any advice or personal experience in either building guitars or on the actual use of any of these pickups would extraordinarily appreciated.
