Questions about jail breaking.

Hello redditors of r/jailbreak. A week or 2 ago I got an iPhone 5 from verizon. It came with 6.1.2 and I haven't updated it. I am kind of new to the whole jailbreaking thing, so I have to ask a few questions. I am sorry if any of these questions seem noobish.

First of all, if I jailbreak my phone, would it void my insurance that I have on this phone with verizon? I've read in places where it would void the warranty with AppleCare, so I didn't know if it would also void my verizon insurance.

Second. In the unfortunate event that I severely f up my phone, what is the easiest way to set it back to normal? I think I saw somewhere that you could plug it in to the computer and restore it with iTunes.

Third and last. If I jailbreak my phone, would I still have all my apps and still be able to download apps from the Apple App Store as well as having access to Cydia?
