A friend of mine has gone missing and we have contacted the police, what else should we do?

Reddit, my International friend has gone missing and we have contacted the police but has not been heard from in the past 48 hours. The police has been contacted and they are at his apartment and his friends are looking through his stuff to get clues of where he may be. Old texts and emails and such.

What else may I do? Contact radio stations, local tv channels?
