Your top 5 games recently played that left a big impression on you
Would be interesting to see which games lately (as in in the past 3 years or so, of course childhood memories are also welcome:) left a big impression on you guys. I'm really interested in gaming in general and really enjoy the opinions of others when it comes to games.
(NOTE): Would be interesting if you would write down your Singleplayer games and Multiplayer games
I'll start:
- Farcry3
- Absolutely loved the enviroment and the general feel of the game. It was an amazing adventure and one which I highly recommend for anyone out there.
- Skyrim
- Again, this game just blew me away from the minute I started playing. I'm a sucker for medieval RPG games and this game just filled all of my necessary needs. It was an amazing advanture and one which never ends, as the use of your imagination can be endless within this game! (not to mention modding)
- Assassin's creed (all of them in the franchise)
- Call me a mainstream kind of guy for loving the assassin creed lineup or not, I loved the whole aspect of these games. The whole feel of you being a master assassin really plays with your imagination. In addition the whole historical aspect again just adds to the fun and is a really enjoyable game.
- Starcraft 2
- Starcraft 2 is really an amazing and mentally rewarding game. I decided to purchase this game due to some friends highly recommending it. It has a huge learning curve and is really not for everyone, but once you figure out what you're doing, learning some builds and have ok macro mechanics, this is truly what online strategy gaming is all about. It all comes down to pure mental and mechanical skill to achieve, like Chess - except in RTS style. This is really one of the most addicting and fun to play (and watch) games out there today.
- Portal 2
- I was at first really skeptical as to if I was going to like this game or not, but after a Steam sale I picked this game up for around €2, and it truly was one of the best €2 ever spent. It's an extremely fun and satisfying game. At first it was a bit difficult figuring out what the hell is going on and why and where am I, and why does this big machine hate me so much. But after some research on the background of the game it all made sense - really enjoyed this game and would recomment it to anyone - and it's cheap!
So there you have it, these are basically my singleplayer games that really left a good impression on me lately and that I really enjoyed playing. I would like to hear your opinions on any games both Singleplayer and Multiplayer that have really left a good impression on you. :)
