How does lp gain/lose goes?

It is just terrible amount to win 2 lp per game. I have today won 6 ranked's in row and gain 2-8 lp per game. So is there some reason i gain this little amount? I have tried all premade higher elo, premade lower elo and solo queue. Still i never gain more than 8 per game.
