Looking for spring shoes for damp weather
I'm looking for shoes I can wear with chinos when it is wet outside. I recently bought a pair of Allen Edmons Wilbert but I don't want to wear them in the rain and I don't want to wear them every day.
- Age: 30
- City: Toronto
- Size: 12 B (narrow), Height: 6'3"
- Commute is a 20-25 minute walk
- Work has basically no dress code
I'm honestly overwhelmed by the information on this subreddit. After reading for hours, there are a few things I know I'm not interested in. (No to Bean boots, desert boots and galoshes).
- Are sneakers ok to wear with khaki chinos? Which brands/styles/colors of sneakers?
- Should I get boots like the Red Wing Beckman? (Does the round toe look like clown shoes in 12+ sizes?)
Before posting, I was thinking of just getting Rockport Northfield to wear when the weather sucks. (They will be 40% off in about 1.5 weeks because of the friends and family sale). I'm hoping someone has a better suggestion.
Thank you
