While my brother and I were out, our parents found our stash

Update: It went pretty bad. Stash got tossed. We got home and went into the kitchen and our mom was kinda in hysterics about it: lots of yelling and "being disappointed" and feeling like she failed, etc. Dad was more mediating than anything because he already knew we smoked and was just trying to keep everything cool. Nevertheless, we got some kind of kicked out that is yet to be specifically determined. We may talk again tomorrow or something, but we just left to not escalate the current bullshittery of the situation. We're trying to approach this productively and are finding good sources of information, in an effort to just inform them that it's not that bad, and it doesn't lead to hard drugs or death or brain deterioration. In the meantime, our good frients hooked us up with a much needed refill, hung out driving around a bit, and now we're playing Risk Legacy with some friends. Thanks for the support, we toked for you :)! I'll update more if/when anything happens!

Update 2: Not much to report. We spent the night at a friend's. Going to talk to our dad later or tomorrow and see what to do about the situation. In the meantime, I have a pretty stupid amount of work to catch up on! People have asked how old we are: we're 21 and 24, in different schools that are both close enough to commute to. So in the grand scheme of things, getting kicked out isn't as shitty as it would be if we were, say, still in high school. In this case, it's just a massive sudden inconvenience that we'll just have to tough through at a pretty shitty time for both of us.

Update 3 (final-ish?): Talked to parents about it after everyone chilled out a bit. Everything's more or less cool, but parents obviously don't ever want to see it and basically don't want us smoking at all as long as we're living at home. Anyway, back home, everyone's chill(er), and we'll presumably be talking more on the subject in general over the next however long we're here. Again, thanks a lot for the support, stories, suggestions, laughs, etc. Lesson to be learned: keep weed out of sight better!
