Anime vs Football

I had a debate with my brother over which had more fans football worldwide (soccer) or every anime ever made worldwide, i love anime and said pokemon alone beats the **** out of football games not even including other anime but he still thinks there are more football fans.

What do you think?

All of anime which includes movies, tv shows, games, manga and anything else like cards and collectables.

Or

Football (does not include american football only soccer) which includes movies, tv shows, games and anything else like cards and collectables.
