Should I pre-order Starbound?

I'm interested in starbound but not sure if I should pre-order, what do you guys think? I've been wanting to play terraria but I haven't been able to seeing as I mainly play on a mac (which sucks sometimes) and terraria was never released on mac, but starbound is! So back to my original question, should I pre order Starbound?
