About to drop $1700 on a bike. What's a reasonable expectation insofar as discounts from my LBS?

I really want different bartape (to match my existing saddle), a second seat post (so I can swap saddles easily), possibly a different chainring or cassette (depending on which bike I pick).

Are any (all?) of these reasonable requests? The shops are selling at list price. Should I ask for these items free or at cost or at x% discount? $1700 (+tax) is a lot of money for me.

I also want a Garmin, but I'm under the impression Garmin doesn't allow discounts and even if they did that seems to be a lot of cheddar to ask back from a sub $2K purchase.

So what should I ask and what should I expect? Sexual favors? ;)
